Pharmacokinetics and Indications: Pharmacokinetics and Indications: Trenbolone is a steroid used by veterinarians in livestock to increase muscle growth and appetite. To increase its effective half-life, trenbolone is not used in its unrefined form; instead, it is administered as trenbolone acetate. Trenbolone is similar to the highly popular steroid nandrolone in that both are 19-nor steroids, meaning a testosterone molecule has been modified at the 19th position to create a new compound. However, unlike nandrolone, trenbolone is an excellent mass and hardening drug, with most of the gains occurring in muscle fibers and minimal water retention.

Possible Side Effects: Trenbolone's chemical structure makes it resistant to the aromatization enzyme (conversion to estrogen), so no percentage of trenbolone converts to estrogen. Trenbolone administration does not promote estrogenic side effects in men, such as breast tissue growth (gynecomastia, bitch tits), accelerated fat gain, decreased fat breakdown, or water retention. Trenbolone is also resistant to the 5-alpha-reductase enzyme, which reduces some steroid hormones to a more androgenic form. However, this is not significant in the case of trenbolone. Trenbolone has an androgenic ratio of 500, which can easily cause adverse androgenic side effects.
